EHRCON26: 22-23 September 2026, Amsterdam

EHRCON is back!

On 22 and 23 September 2026, we’ll be in the City of Amsterdam for two packed days of insight, collaboration and innovation.

With a programme built around interoperability, patient-centric care, sustainability, EHDS and the growing role of agentic AI, we’re bringing together clinicians, data scientists, researchers, healthcare leaders and vendors to explore how open standards are shaping the future of digital health. Expect lively debate alongside practical, real-world learning and earn CPD points from The Federation for Informatics Professionals.

And if two days isn’t enough, you can join our half-day pre-conference clinical modelling workshop on Monday 21 September, where hands-on sessions and expert guidance will leave you with practical modelling skills as well as a recognised openEHR certification.

Conference tickets are on sale now, including Early Bird rates for openEHR members, as well as a limited number of discounted places for students and healthcare professionals. :penguin:

We’re also inviting new speakers to take the stage. We’re especially interested in collaboration between standards bodies, sustainability, EHDS, and next-generation AI in healthcare. So, if you’re working on a real-world use case, research project, or an openEHR-based innovation you’d like to share with the community, now is the time. Speaker applications are open until 31 May.

For organisations looking to raise their profile and support the openEHR community, sponsorship and exhibitor packages are available too, with flexible options designed to suit all budgets. It’s a great opportunity to promote your message to a highly engaged, global audience.

Hi Abi,

Thank you very much for organising EHRCON26. I’m looking forward to the event!

I have some questions regarding Monday 21 September :

A half-day pre-conference clinical modelling workshop is taking place on Monday morning. Pre-conference meetings have also been announced for the same day ( EHRCON26 – pre conference meetings – openehr.org ).

Has it already been decided which pre-conference meetings will take place on Monday and at which times?

Do these pre-conference meetings potentially overlap with the clinical modelling workshop on Monday morning, or will they take place in the afternoon?

With kind reg ards,

Emmanuel

Hi Emmanuel, thanks for your message and pleased to hear you’re looking forward to the event.

We’re doing our best with scheduling however you’re absolutely correct, there will be some unavoidable overlap between the workshop and pre-conference meetings. It’s likely that the openEHR SEC and CPB will be meeting (independently) on the morning of 21 September, when the workshop is taking place. There is then likely to be a joint SEC/CPB meeting in the afternoon, after the modelling workshop has finished. We’ll keep overlap to a minimum and will advise as soon as possible of the final agenda. I hope this helps? Looking forward to seeing you in September. Abi

Hi Abi, Yes, this helps. Thank you very much for clarifying! with kind regards, Emmanuel
