Converge and Collaborate - Dublin, May 12/13

Hey All

Abi previously announced that we’re going to hold a follow up to our meeting between HL7 and openEHR in Amsterdam last year Converge and Collaborate (openEHR and HL7) - Dublin, May 12-13

There’ll be a formal announcement shortly, along with a call for papers and contributions, but since Abi has confirmed the facility details, I thought I’d give it a little more visibility. Note that unlike last meeting, this meeting will be open participation. So keep an eye out for the announcement, and see you Dublin

Hi Graham,

great to have this event happen, I am looking forward to it!

Are there any more news about when the venue and contributions will be announced, and registration opened?

Best,

Hendrik

today there should be an announcement here -I don’t seem to have the privileges, so see here: LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn

btw, there’s a couple of days between this meeting and the HL7 meeting in Rotterdam. If you’re interested in both, and wondering what to do between them, my better half made this list for me:

Hello everyone,

First of all, thanks for sharing this! We are very interested in the possibility of attending the meeting this year, especially now that it’s open to broader participation. Regarding the program, I was wondering if the event will follow the same five workstreams we saw in the previous edition, or if there are plans to define new ones for Dublin?

In either case, could you provide a bit more detail on what those specific lines of work will be?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Laura and thanks for your interest. The agenda has not yet been finalised but we will update as soon as possible. Broadly speaking there will updates from the existing five workstreams, however there will also be new areas of focus - including cancer treatment support - and we’ve issued a call for presentations so other themes will arise. More info to follow! Feel free to DM if you have any areas you’d like to discuss.

:four_leaf_clover: To add to this ‘activities’ thread, anyone spending more time in Dublin around the event can receive a discount at this fun venue: https://theirishhouseparty.com/book-tickets/ (on 9th, 16th and 17th May) with the code ‘OPENEHR’.

Dear Graham,

About two weeks ago, I sent a presentation proposal for the event in May, in Dublin, but I have no idea if it was received, if it is taken into account, etc. Can you please put me in contact with someone that can reply these questions? Thank you
Best,

Tudor

That’d be me, and sorry for not getting to this last week. We will be asking you to make your presentation, thanks

Thank you, Graham.

There will be a programme for the event? We want to promote the event on our end as we will be among the presenters, but we cannot do that until we have our contribution indicated in a programme, even a first version of it.

Thank you.

Best,

Tudor

Abi is going to post it
