Meeting minutes

A list of meeting participants is available on request.

The meeting participants gave a short introduction to themselves.

The access points implementation guide was not presented due to conflicting commitments and some rescheduling of the project.

Erik Sundvall presented the implementation guide for implementing the Swedish Patient Data Act in openEHR. The presentation was mainly based on the document at the address https://openehr.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/healthmod/pages/1893105737/PDL+i+openEHR and the presentation slides have been made available after the meeting. The presentation was well received. In the following discussions it was found that there are similar requirements in Finland and Norway. Pirkko Kortekangas provided the link to the most relevant Act, “Lag om elektronisk behandling av kunduppgifter inom social- och hälsovården” in this area in Finland; Lag om elektronisk behandling av kunduppgifter… 784/2021 - Ursprungliga författningar - FINLEX ® . Bjørn Næss stated that similar acts in Norway have not been implemented using openEHR, but instead outside the openEHR environment, but the needs are similar. Hanna Pohjonen stated that a similar discussion seems to start up in England, so representatives from England might also be interested in the future. Hanna Pohjonen also stated that UNA had informed her about that they are also interested in HL7 FHIR profiles in this area and Martin Grundberg replied that there are ongoing work in Sweden also in the HL7 FHIR area, but in another group with partly overlapping participants. Hanna Pohjonen or Pirkko Kortekangas can mediate contact to the group in Finland if interesting.

It was decided to arrange an on-line meeting every other month.

The next meeting will be arranged Tuesday 2022-02-15 13:00 - 15:00 CET (14:00 - 16:00 EET). The meeting will be arranged by the delegation from Finland. The tentative agenda include social care modelling, relationships with HL7 FHIR, care plans and international archetype governance.

The on-line meeting in April is supposed to be arranged by the delegation from Norway.

Discussions about physical meetings was decided to be postponed until the pandemic situation is better.
