Have a problem starting Ocean's Template Designer

Thanks Rath for trying so hard to get the Template Designer working on your virtual machines. This is a known issue when running on a virtual machine in non-windows environments but we have struggled to get a solution due to replicating the same virtual machine environment, including the host and virtualisation platform.

We will certainly take into consideration the details you have provided here to see if we can get a solution but this may take some time and further interaction.

For your future reference, you can log issues with the Template Designer at http://support.oceaninformatics.com/templatedesigner and we will do our best at reviewing your issues in due course.

Note that the Jira TDPR and AEPR projects on openEHR are not used by Ocean to support the Template Designer and Archetype Editor tools.

@thomas.beale - I think we should certainly remove the TDPR JIRA project - or point people to Ocean’s support site.

I can do this, but there are 18 issues from the last few years. Is the idea just to ignore those and remove the project… or explain it somehow? Capture those issues? Ideally Ocean would check through that list to see if they have them all recorded locally.

Pass the list to Heath and explain that this issue list is no longer managed and point to the link? Just reflecting reality!!

We can leave AEPR for now - it is open source and there are one or two of us who would be able to respond to any notifications.

@rathpanyowat as you would have noticed in your Ocean Service Desk request, we have a resolution for this issue. There is a manual work around in the linked Work Instruction to install a missing Microsoft library dependency.
We will be creating a new build of TD to include this missing dependency in the near future .
