Greetings,
Ian and I have been working on internalization of openEHR terminology XML for a project. Being the lazy person that I am, I wrote an Xquery snippet to reuse the existing work in the Archetype Editor’s terminology file, which is quite comprehensive in terms of the languages it contains. However, this did not help perform the full internalization.
The problem is, the group elements’ name attributes are the only identifiers for group elements, and even if one translates the concepts under groups, the group name is still in English. An example with Turkish:
the group name is “null flavours”. Group element has no attribute such as conceptID, that would allow me to fully internationalize the xml file. The concept id for null flavours actually exits in the Archetype Editor xml file, but if I use that code here, I’ll probably be inventing a non-standard hack.
Does it make sense to add a conceptId attribute to group element? (and could anybody let me know the location of the latest schema for openEHR terminology XML?)
Best regards
Seref
