I just wanted to forward the Google Summer of Code announcement (see below).
Some openEHR projects were suggested 2008 and 2009 but were not selected to be among the final projects that got support:

If you have ideas for 2013 feel free to add a 2013 subpage at the wikipage above and discuss ideas there or on this mailing list. I think the openEHR projects will be more interesting if they are submitted together in a coordinated manner by openEHR, but the project suggestions and student supervision should probably come from the different independent implementation projects.
OpenMRS has done several Google Summer of Code projects in an excellent way over the years, see https://wiki.openmrs.org/display/RES/Google+Summer+of+Code
We could learn from them.
