Good News! Medinfo 2013 - Scientific Program Committee Decision, Id: 946

This response has just been sent through from the Medinfo Scientific Program Committee.

If everyone is agreeable I will respond in the affirmative and answer the questions.

Are the original people who volunteered to participate still available to participate?

Thanks if you were one of those who sent emails requesting the tutorial being reinstated.

Regards

Heather

any chance recording this session?

Hi Heather,

Excellent news. We should definitely respond positively. I would be happy to do something on balancing the use of local vs. national vs. international archetypes/ templates, if we need to give them some specific topics.

Ian

I think I didn’t answer the first time as my participation was conditioned to the acceptance of the paper as oral communication (which finally was accepted). I will be glad to help.

Great news! I am still interested in participating in the workshop. Let us know what needs to be done. Thank you all for the hard work and availability.

Congratulations, Heather! I knew they would reconsider!

I don’t think I will be able to attend though. I will go to Japan in July to present an opneEHR tutorial, together with Shinji and Koray in the IEE EBMS 2013 in Osaka and Shinji also a workshop in Tokyo. I’m too busy with two ongoing national projects, the Brazilian Ehealth strategy and a national health plan EHR, both ot them using openEHR, and cannot stay that long out of the country. Besides I dont have any funding to attend.

It’s a pity, because I think to present the Brazilian experience and the challenges to adoptt openEHR in such large scale could be an interesting issue to the tuturial and certainly would bring more audience to it and more adepts to openEHR. But you can count on me to contribute to shape the tutorial.
