Develop in the Open (DITO) - Event - 3 Dec Coventry Univ UK

The DITO project seeks to improve patient outcomes and reduce staff administration time when developing digital systems to enable their constant improvement and remove vendor lock-in. Solution based on openEHR, built upon the existing Ripple stack, is a good exemplar for openEHR members and supports the clinical modelling group of the Apperta Foundation.

Funded by Innovate UK, the DITO project looks at implementing an open approach to the full digital application life-cycle, developing an eObs application which will provide an essential support system to reduce deterioration of patients, and subsequent rapid response processes.

The project is led by OpusVL, an open source software integrator. Supporting partners include Coventry University, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, The Apperta Foundation CIC and Open UK.

This event provides information about this project including the results of research, development activities so far, the opportunity to get hands on with the emerging prototype and time for networking, drinks and canapés.

There are a number of groups developing/developed obs/gynae-related archetypes who are starting to collaborate. What is the extent of eObs modelling to date? Just wondering how we can facilitate more collaboration with this initiative.
Cheers
