Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the openEHR Software Program Board (SPB) has now officially launched.

In accordance with the Software Program Board Terms of Reference, individuals who wish to participate as members of the SPB are required to submit an application for review by the SPB Co-Chair and the openEHR CiC Board.

If you would like to be considered for participation in the SPB, please complete the application form using the link below:

The deadline for submitting applications is 23:59 GMT on Friday 3rd April 2026.

Once the review process has been completed, applicants will be informed of the outcome and confirmed SPB members will receive the recurring meeting invitation.

Thank you to everyone who attended the launch meetings of the openEHR Software Program Board (SPB), and to all those who took the time to submit an application. We truly appreciate the interest, engagement, and support shown across the community.

All applicants who have been successfully selected to join the SPB have now been contacted via email.

On behalf of myself, the openEHR team, the openEHR International Board, and SPB Co-Chair @luis_marco, we look forward to working together and seeing what the SPB can achieve.
