I was wondering if anyone might have some prior experience with addressing the issue I have? I’m trying to get yugabyte to work with EHRBase within my Kubernetes cluster. Currently, my issue is on startup of ehrbase. I’m getting the following error:
I’ve tried to find out a work around, but I haven’t found anything yet. Obviously this must work as there are live deployments of this in Spain. Any pointers or ideas?
I don’t work for Vita, but as far as I know, EhrBase has an enterprise version, which I assume is what it used for the deployment in Catalonia. @birger.haarbrandt gave a presentation in Netherlands (video should be somewhere on youtube) and I remember him mentioning both versions.
So based on my assumptions above, open source ‘core’ of EhrBase may not have the full enterprise features of the enterprise version, and Yugabyte compatibility may be one of them.
Pure speculation on my part of course. Though I’d like to personally add that it would not be a surprise if my assumption is correct, and furthermore, I’d personally say that it would be good for Vita to keep these features out of the core. Why? because I’d like EhrBase and any other openEhr solution that is available for free (as in beer) to be sustainable for the companies that offer and support them. So if Vita keeps some really enterprise features out of the core and this helps them financially justify offering the core as open source, good for them.
Please note that I’m not making this point to you personally, I think it is something important for the community to consider, and your question looked like a good opportunity to make my point.
