Hello,
I have a question about some properties of the ISM_TRANSITION entity
in the action archetypes. I noticed that the current_state attribute
can have several codes to choose from, i.e. alternative states for the
'Initial' and 'Active' states. The 'Initial' can have an alternative
state 'Active' and the 'Active' state can have an alternative state
'Initial'. Now in the archetypes created by the Ocean editor, the only
way to separate an 'Initial' state with an alternative state 'Active'
from an 'Active' state with an alternative state 'Initial' is by
looking at the ordering of the openEHR codes found under the
current_state attribute.
I tried changing the order of the codes and then the two states
switched places in the editor, i.e. 'Active' became 'Initial' and vice
versa. I am wondering if the ordering shall have a semantic meaning in
an archetype or should the two different states be seen as equal?
I also noticed that except for the state setting I talked about above,
there is also a transition setting. This transition setting doesn't
seem to be implemented (as I've reported before) but I'm wondering if
there is a need for that setting, and in that case, what syntax should
it introduce in the ADL file?
Regards,
Mattias
