We are looking at hosting a webinar with GS1 in 2025 - I am keen to hear from anyone with practical examples. @Paulmiller has already come forward with the work he has done but would appreciate it if anyone else working with GS1 could let me know so we can share practical examples.

I have had a number of meetings with GS1 team George Lawton discussing collaboration with openEHR. In particular with respect to openOutcomes as we have included the medical device archetype that includes the Unique Device Identifier (UDI) which essentially maps directly to the GS1 standard for device identifier. I have discussed how this could be used as per Scan4safety, PROMs, The medical device outcome registry (MDOR). Happy to chat.

Fantastic thanks Kanthan - as the work develops I will keep you up to date and hopefully involve you in the webinar. This is a really nice take on GS1 as most of the examples we have are medicines related.
