We’ve found a set of classes apparently aimed at building RM objects.
There is not any explanation on how to use them and it is hard for us to work out how complete this package is.
more information on this would be very welcome.
After studying the package we could not decide if the it uses paths as inputs or not.
I was wondering, why not create a method setItemAtPath analogous to itemAtPath in locatable?

any thoughts?
I'll leave the Java details the experts, but this is a sensible design idea, and what I would expect to implement in my Eiffel kernel.

We have found that the call to set values can be more or less complex and how the kernel does this is likely to vary in different applications. Heath has an openEHR facade on the Ocean Kernel and and I wonder if it would be good to align this - making sure that the differences between Java and .Net do not get in the way at the API level?

Good idea, really, let's call it Portable OpenEHR System Interface: POSI
But seriously, it i, it will help. Like there are also JAVA libraries which are almost 1 to 1 translated to C#, which makes live for programmers easier.
It will be nice to have an workshop for the openEHR implementers. Thomas, Sam and I will be at MIE2006 in Maastricht. I guess Bert and some of the Linköping group will also be there. Maybe we could meet up during the conference?
Too bad, really, I would have gone there for sure, but I am with my wife and children near Toulouse on a holiday, I leave tomorrow. I am really sorry about that.
Next chance (in Europe) I will be there
