# Where does the territory value DE come from? **Category:** [Tool Support](https://discourse.openehr.org/c/tool-support/29) **Created:** 2024-08-23 09:54 UTC **Views:** 44 **Replies:** 2 **URL:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/where-does-the-territory-value-de-come-from/5606 --- ## Post #1 by @linforest In the example Composition obtained by openEHR-tool, the territory is set as DE. But where does the value DE come from? EHRBase **OR** openEHR-tool **OR** the Archetype it was derived from? Note: the OPT template is directly based on: * openEHR-EHR-COMPOSITION.self_reported_data.v1 * openEHR-EHR-OBSERVATION.empower_physical_exercises.v0 ![image|355x387](upload://g93qnvvx09Nm8pKhRT7IyD9ZLCh.png) --- ## Post #2 by @ian.mcnicoll This would normally be 'injected' by the application at run-time to label the territory where the composition was created. 'DE' is just supplied as part of the example composition. It is not part of the template or underlying archetype. The composition needs to be 'told' where it is being stored'. Same as the start_time - this would be supplied by the app at run-time but it is populated in the example composition with a dummy example date. --- ## Post #3 by @linforest Ah, I see. It's just like the other dummy data. Thanks, Ian. **Reference**: * [EHRBase Documentation: 8.3.3.
