# What does the word "operational" mean?

What does the word "operational" in the OPT's full name "Operational Template" mean?  Thanks.

'Operational' refers to 'operational systems', i.e. 'deployments' - so an 'operational template' is the (compiled) form of source templates and archetypes that can be used in an operational system.

BTW,  it's a bit difficult to translate the term "operational system" into a straightforward (simple and easy-to-understand) Chinese term, esp. the adjective "operational".
