# The OpenEHR Song - The Archetypes

Hey everyone!

So… we had this wild idea over at The Archetypes,  what if we wrote *The OpenEHR Song*? 😄
We know this community is full of talent, so we thought, why not write the lyrics together and see where it takes us?

If you've got any ideas (lyrics, themes, rhymes,...), drop them into this doc:

Try not to flood it with EHR puns… or at least not too many!

To get things rolling, the plan is to finish the song and then actually record it with real singers and musicians from the community! 

And hey, if you’re into video editing, we’re hoping to make a music video too. Your skills will be more than welcome!

Of course, this is all just a fun experiment — no pressure, no expectations — but who knows… maybe we’ll have a world premiere in Barcelona? 😉

I was in a meeting this morning, and in a presentation we saw a spelling mistake. Instead of "Vital signs" it was written "vital sings".

I think that would be the perfect title for the song :joy:

Hi everyone! 

Doesn't seem like this one’s sparking much creativity 😅 So I put together a verse, pre-chorus, and chorus just to get things moving. Feel free to tweak or change anything! I’m not super happy with it, but maybe it’ll help get some ideas flowing. 

Gonna push it a bit further and then probably call it, was just messing around with the idea anyway! 

Copying my proposal here (edit in the doc): 

*Verse 1*

*What if, “ETL”s did not exist,*
*Data adapted to the context,*
*Data captured all the knowledge.*

*What if, patients travelled with their data*
*Caregivers seeing the whole picture,*
*Clinical processes running quicker.*

*Pre-chorus*

*Archetypes in compositions,*
*all together for persistence.*
*Architecture at all levels,*
*Working swiftly for clinicians.*

*Chorus*

*EHR, openEHR, “E” “H” “R”*
*Open “E”, “H”, “R”.*

Not yet decided,but treat the lyrics as if it was a poem. Next step will be sending a recording of a melody proposal but didn't want to influence at this stage. Music can be adapted to the lyrics!! ;)
