Hi All,
I am trying to catch up what the “current openEHR opinions” are related to Problem Oriented Medical Record. I therefore wonder if anyone has any new findings or implementations done since 2020 that they would like to share.
I’ve shared work around care plan modelling incl context specific problem lists. Ian has shared work on contsys. There’s been (a few) discussions on how to model episodes. My view is FOLDERs linked to a problem in a care plan is the way to go. Where ‘every’ composition in the ehr should be ‘contained’ by an episode. (Larry Weed has good words for information that’s not problem related, check YouTube) Most interesting discussion with an opposing view by @chunlan.ma is on confluence.
@sebastian.iancu brings it up occasionally, advocating making an episode a first class citizen in the RM. But work is mostly low speed at the moment. Happy to contribute if you’re willing to lead. It’s a key point for an EHR, and openEHR is much better suited to solve it then FHIR…
