# openEHR REST APIs 1.0.1 Released

The [openEHR REST APIs Release 1.0.1](https://specifications.openehr.org/releases/ITS-REST/Release-1.0.1/) is now out!

Thanks to the [SEC](https://www.openehr.org/programs/specification/editorialcommittee) and particularly @sebastian.iancu of Code24 who worked very hard to put this release together.

Although this is a so-called 'patch' release, it includes a significant amount of improvement - more user-friendly, more consistent and improved text, better examples.

From Sebastian:
*What’s next?* The next planned release of REST will be 1.1.0, Ideally released shortly after RM 1.1.0. It will most probably require also new releases of REST-JSON, REST-XML and SM.
