# openEHR Affiliates participation in EHDS consultations?

What are other European affiliates doing with regard to the ongoing EHDS consultations? :european_union: 

As an example, openEHR Norway has four of our people participating in the national reference groups for Patient Summary and Discharge Report, organised by our Directorate of Health.

We’d particularly like to know whether anyone have a more structured approach, as opposed to our admittedly ‘ad-hoc’ participation.

We would greatly appreciate if the openEHR community would create templates for EHDS Patient Summary and Discharge Report. But sorry to tell  that we don’t have openEHR minded participation from Finland.

Hi Silje,

We are not specifically invited, but we do want to work on at least looking at how archetypes align with the EHDS logical models: https://build.fhir.org/ig/Xt-EHR/xt-ehr-common/ .  We might be able to get some results of that work into the consultation. Do you need similar work ? Would be good to do this work with mulitple country affliates.

You can try to just join the calls, afaik they are open for the modeling etc :wink:

That sounds like a possible area of collaboration. Part of our plan was to create templates to try see if the EHDS models can match the archetypes, but of course we need to find the time to actually do the work :sweat_smile:

It looks like @Daniel_Karlsson is one of the autors of e.g. https://samarbetsyta.ehalsomyndigheten.se/xtehr/files/314441861/326665163/1/1752493244480/01_Xt-EHR_D6.1+Patient+Summary+-+v0.6_draft-for-consultation.pdf, he knows openEHR pretty well. 

Daniel do you have any advice regarding things that the openEHR community (including national affilates) should  focus on? The documents are farily big…

I’ll raise it with openEHR Uk colleagues. There is significant interest in EHDS/IPS , in spite of UK Brexiting.
