# Nominations Open – Organisational Representative on the openEHR Board

<span lang="EN-GB">We would like to congratulate Jordi on his appointment as CEO and thank him for his continued commitment to openEHR in this new role.</span> 

<span lang="EN-GB"></span><span lang="EN-GB">As a result of this transition, a position has become available on the openEHR Board for an </span>**<span lang="EN-GB">Organisational Representative</span>**<span lang="EN-GB">.</span> 

<span lang="EN-GB"></span><span lang="EN-GB">We are therefore inviting nominations for this role, which is open exclusively to organisational members of openEHR.</span> 

<span lang="EN-GB"></span><span lang="EN-GB">If your organisation would like to nominate a representative - or if you wish to nominate another eligible organisational member - please submit a short statement of interest (maximum two paragraphs preferred) by email to </span>[<span lang="EN-GB"></span>](mailto:comms@openehr.org)comms@openehr.org <span lang="EN-GB">no later than </span>**<span lang="EN-GB">23:59 BST on Sunday 3rd May 2026</span>**<span lang="EN-GB">.</span> 

<span lang="EN-GB"></span><span lang="EN-GB">If you are unsure of the membership category you or your organisation hold, please contact us for clarification.</span> 

<span lang="EN-GB"></span><span lang="EN-GB">Each organisational member will have one vote. If you need to amend your designated voting representative or update your membership information, please let us know in advance. To be eligible to vote, memberships must be current and any outstanding invoices settled.</span>

## **Voting now open for Election of Organisational Representative to the openEHR Board**

We are pleased to confirm the following nominations for the Organisational Representative position on the openEHR Board:

* Xabier Michelena
* Kate Ebrill

Please note that voting is **only open** to the registered account holders for **openEHR Organisational Members**.

Eligible members should have received an email containing information on each nominee and instructions on how to vote. If you have not received this email, please [log in](https://openehrfoundation26.wildapricot.org/Sys/Login) to the membership site.

The poll will remain *open until 23:59 BST on Monday 18th May 2026*.
