# Nominations Open – Industry Representative on the openEHR Board April 2026

We would like to sincerely thank Matt Cox for his valuable contributions to openEHR and our community during his time as Industry Representative on the openEHR CiC Board. We are sorry to share that Matt has now stepped down from this role.

As a result, a position has become available on the openEHR CiC Board for an Industry Representative.

We are therefore inviting nominations for this role, open exclusively to openEHR Industry Partners.

If your organisation would like to nominate a representative - or if you wish to nominate another eligible industry member - please submit a short statement of interest (maximum two paragraphs) to [comms@openehr.org](mailto:comms@openehr.org) by 23:59 BST on Sunday 17th May 2026.

Each Industry Partner will have one vote. To be eligible, memberships must be current and any outstanding invoices settled. If you need to update your designated voting representative or membership details, please let us know in advance.

If you are unsure of your membership category or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please be reminded that nominations for the Industry Representative position on the openEHR Board must be submitted by **23:59 BST on Sunday 17th May 2026**.

Please also note that candidates must be employees or associates of a registered and fully paid-up Industry Partner at the time of the election.

## **Voting now open for Election of Industry Representative to the openEHR Board**

We are pleased to confirm the following nominations for the Industry Representative position on the openEHR Board:

- Lukas Eksten
- Nils Hellrung
- Gonzalo Montesdeoca Zamora
- Amanda Herbrand

Please note that voting is **only open** to the registered account holders for **openEHR Industry Partners**.

Eligible members should have received an email containing information on each nominee and instructions on how to vote. If you have not received this email, please [log in](https://openehrfoundation26.wildapricot.org/Sys/Login) to the membership site.

The poll will remain _open until 23:59 BST on Sunday 7th June 2026_.
