# New SEC member Matija Polajnar

openEHR Specification Editorial Committee (SEC) news.

This month we see the departure of Boštjan Lah (from Marand) from the SEC, after having actively participated for 4 years, and as a result, improved the specifications development in that time. The Foundation and SEC greatly appreciate his involvement.

To replace him, we have a new member [Matija Polajnar](https://www.openehr.org/programs/specification/editorialcommittee#matija-polajnar), also from Marand, via election by the SEC. Matija has a PhD in data mining, and has been actively involved in openEHR development in recent years. We welcome him to the SEC.
