# LOINC 'measured/ estimated/stated'

We are doing some work on LOINC mapping to openEHR and are finding a common requirement to express 'measured/estimated/stated'

```
8351-9	Body weight Measured, without clothes
3142-7	Body weight Stated
8335-2	Body weight Estimated
```

Only Fluid output has Method (Estimated /Stated) - is there an argument for creating a cluster archetype or adding method to Body weight and other comparable archetypes ?

LOINC is going to become increasingly important because of its use in FHIR, and as I understand it that all LOINC codes will be reflected in SNOMED.

Here is a snapshot of some of the LOINC codes with a method of Estimated
