# Index on Jsonb column

Hi,

There is a performance issue in fetching data from openEHR when there is filter on jsonb data.

In the above screen shot, trying to add index for "/items[openEHR-EHR-CLUSTER.case_identification.v1]/items[at0003]/value/value" which is an array in jsonb.

@Vinay_Kumar_Javalkar - this isis an Ehrbase only question so I have moved it to the appropriate Category.

@birger.haarbrandt - any thoughts?

@ian.mcnicoll @Vinay_Kumar_Javalkar setting indexes on jsonb is currently limited in EHRbase. This is currently being refactored and will become available later this year (though I won't be able to give a concrete date, yet)
