Just an update for those curious about what happened in Karolinska’s search. We have done a POC with @yampeku and Veratech, where we found that LinkEHR does most of the things we want. It is the most openEHR/dual-model competent free-standing mapping & conversion tool we have found so far. (There might be other tools included in/with other openEHR solutions that we have not been able to compare though.)
The commercial verison of LinkEHR compiles the mapping to xQuery-based transformation code that outputs canonical (XML) openEHR Compositions, and can thus be used in many different integration engines/pipelines and talk to several differeet openEHR CDRs.
The UI look of the tool is a bit dated, and some recurring mapping tasks could be more automated, but that is balanced by the fact that the solution and xQuery conversion approaches have been battle-tested in real Spanish settings for several years
