Currently working on some integration projects for an NHS trust and this looks like it could be the ideal route for us to go down in terms of structuring data etc. If anyone has any good ‘beginners-guides’ they could point me to, it would be very welcomed! Also, I notice the C#/.Net mailing list doesn’t seem to work, has this been disbanded now? Many thanks, Alex Hitchins --- ## Post #2 by @Seref Hi Alex, This is probably a good starting point: [https://www.openehr.org/resources/white_papers](https://www.openehr.org/resources/white_papers) Not in great shape and showing its age now, but this one could give you a slightly technically perspective: [https://serefarikan.com/2012/11/08/openehr-for-practical-people-cleaned-up/](https://serefarikan.com/2012/11/08/openehr-for-practical-people-cleaned-up/) I'd suggest that you also checkout Tom's blog: [https://wolandscat.net/](https://wolandscat.net/) These are good paths for a pragmatic introduction but the lists would probably be the most useful resource; just ask whatever you want to/does not make sense. More substantial resources exist, like to specification documents and papers/thesis on openEHR but I'd suggest you follow a goal driven approach. Cheers Seref ps: I think technical and implementers lists became the common ground in time, will need to check what is going on with C#, thanks for raising that. --- ## Post #3 by @system Alex Would also suggest these brief video intros x 3 to openEHR are aimed at newcomers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUwGNXppdbw&index=4&list=PLNxHSK29ViKLrrhdPTqbYr6XGTya4uGBv](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUwGNXppdbw&index=4&list=PLNxHSK29ViKLrrhdPTqbYr6XGTya4uGBv) The Best of Breed open eHealth platform 3.0 presentation by Dr Ian McNicoll that follows in that playlist and is an excellent introductory talk. regards Tony Dr. Tony Shannon Director, Ripple Foundation [ripple.foundation](http://ripple.foundation/) Director, Apperta Foundation [apperta.org](http://apperta.org/) [tony.shannon@ripple.foundation](mailto:tony.shannon@ripple.foundation) +44.789.988.5068 (UK) +353.89.457.6011 (Ireland) --- **Canonical:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/getting-to-know-openehr/15528 **Original content:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/getting-to-know-openehr/15528
