# EHRscape API? **Category:** [General Discussion](https://discourse.openehr.org/c/general-discussion/132) **Created:** 2023-07-26 07:06 UTC **Views:** 835 **Replies:** 7 **URL:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/ehrscape-api/4286 --- ## Post #1 by @vijay_zharotia Are there EHRScape Api? as referred in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzPCy-5mazc&list=PLUr-PTsPYKV4Cl7gUe5sPoCQEfRJ3FpWW&index=10 Is there any alrenative tool for it? --- ## Post #2 by @ian.mcnicoll There is some documentation here https://freshehr.github.io/dhi-proms I'm not sure why the original Better Ehrscape API site is down --- ## Post #3 by @Ishika_Dubey Hi @vijay_zharotia, just wanted to know if you have found EHRScape API or any alternative tool? --- ## Post #4 by @Ishika_Dubey Hi @ian.mcnicoll, this documentation is helpful but not sure from where to get the source code for EHRScape? Is it not open-source anymore? --- ## Post #5 by @ian.mcnicoll Hi Ishika, The Ehrscape API was originally developed by Better but their EhrServer CDR has never been open-source. They do provide a Sandbox environment at which will work with Ehrscape https://sandbox.better.care/ The Vitasystems Ehrbase v1 also supports Ehrbase via the /ecis endpoint. Both are open-source https://docs.ehrbase.org/ The docker-compose deploy is pretty easy EhrBase v2 also supports the FLAT and STRUCTURED data formats but via the 'normal' openEHR REST API - We have not updated our Postman collection to support that yet but will do so shortly. I understand that Better are in the process of doing the same. --- ## Post #6 by @birger.haarbrandt Hi there, EHRSCAPE API is now deprecated and you will find functions as part of the official openEHR REST API (example creation, webtemplates, flat + structured). Once I'm back from vacations next week, I will clarify in the documentation. --- ## Post #7 by @Ishika_Dubey Thanks a lot for your input @ian.mcnicoll. Will be looking forward for updated Postman collection. --- ## Post #8 by @Ishika_Dubey Ohk. Thanks for your reply @birger.haarbrandt . Will be waiting for further clarifications in the documentation. I m a beginner in this domain so its getting little complicated to understand things directly from documentations. --- **Canonical:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/ehrscape-api/4286 **Original content:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/ehrscape-api/4286
