# Correct use of the Terminology_code Class

Looking at AOM2 it can be seen that the **RESOURCE_DESCRIPTION** class is

This shows the lifecycle_state being of type Terminology_code, this class states that both the **terminology_id** and **code_string** are mandatory.

Yet when looking at an ADL2 archetypes in either CKM or Archie (all formats), the lifecycle is stated without a **terminology_id** how is that possible? What would the **terminology_id** be for lifecycle?
