# Archetypes - Diagnosis, Genetic condition and Injury **Category:** [Clinical (archive)](https://discourse.openehr.org/c/clinical-archive/153) **Created:** 2005-04-15 01:48 UTC **Views:** 6 **Replies:** 0 **URL:** https://discourse.openehr.org/t/archetypes-diagnosis-genetic-condition-and-injury/12040 --- ## Post #1 by @Sam Dear All This is the second wave of evaluation archetypes [available as HTML and as ADL](http://oceaninformatics.biz/archetypes/). Any archetypes edited or added since the last email will have a 'new' icon to help you to see which ones are new in the list. [Diagnosis ](http://oceaninformatics.biz/archetypes/openEHR-EHR-EVALUATION.problem-diagnosis.v1.html)is a specialisation of [Problem](http://oceaninformatics.biz/archetypes/openEHR-EHR-EVALUATION.problem.v1.html) (added references and weblinks to the protocol on the basis of feedback) - forcing coding against a terminology and also allowing diagnostic criteria to be added and clinical staging to be recorded. Specialisation means that diagnoses will be returned when searching for Problems, but not the other way about. [Genetic condition](http://oceaninformatics.biz/archetypes/openEHR-EHR-EVALUATION.problem-genetic.v1.html) is also a specialisation of problem. [Injury ](http://oceaninformatics.biz/archetypes/openEHR-EHR-EVALUATION.injury.v1.html)is modelled as a concept that records the actual injury or accident, rather than the health problem - which can be added if minor details are known, but generally will be linked to the injury as separate health problems. We are particularly interested in your comments on Injury as it should form a sensible part of the Workcover information in the EHR. This archetype is an evaluation - which is information recorded based on the findings of the clinician. Please [email any comments or issues to us](mailto:archetypes@oceaninformatics.biz) or reply to this message. For those of you who would like to know more about the evaluation class in openEHR, you can look at the [on-line help](http://www.oceaninformatics.biz/archetype_editor/help/openEHR/entry_when.htm) for the editor, which describes the different styles of entry. More detailed information can be found in the *open*EHR specifications (Chapter 8 of the [EHR documentation](http://www.openehr.org/repositories/spec-dev/latest/publishing/architecture/rm/ehr_im.pdf)). [Tutorials on archetypes](http://oceaninformatics.biz/CMS/index.php?option=com_docman&task=view_category&Itemid=27&subcat=8&catid=13&limitstart=0&limit=5) and the [archetype editor](http://www.oceaninformatics.biz/CMS/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1) are available from the Ocean site. We look forward to hearing from you.
