# Adding metadata to stored queries

The current specification do not seem to include adding metadata to stored queries. It may be a good idea to allow addition of user provided metadata such as description, purpose etc.

This will be useful as installed solutions mature and start having a large number of stored queries. Users will be able to get view the queries and understand it's intended purpose etc.

we got the same requirement for our product and I think we already discussed this a bit in the SEC. So I think it is only a matter of time.
